Richie Parsons, co-founder of Surf’s Up, is a proud Dorchester native with deep roots in the community. Raised on Westmoreland Street, where his family lived from 1916 to 2016, Richie attended St. Brendan’s School and the local public grammar schools. The name and branding of Surf’s Up are inspired by Richie’s 1980 local “hit” record, No Surfin’ In Dorchester Bay. With over six years of experience in the cannabis industry, Richie is excited to finally bring Surf’s Up home to Dorchester. His mission is simple: to build a dispensary that reflects the values of this community: welcoming, unpretentious, and neighborly.
